Again a story about getting back on your feet with the help of another broken soul. You´ll find out there many romances like this. This time a little edgier.
I like the way it was written, focusing in the connection, about art, hope, love with plenty of sex on the side, I must say, well not on the side, right in front of you and very detailed, good stamina!
I liked their interaction around their need for each other, afraid of the loneliness, breaking the rules and their limits, growing a thicker skin to start living again. To make sense. They went far beyond skin, only at the end they realized what they were missing. They build each others armor and completed the shield, healing their wounds.
What I didn’t like that much:
I’ve found a little difficult to understand why there was so many problems around a guy with tattoos, or even piercings… I think that city has many living there… but Ok… let’s keep reading 🙂
Then I didn’t understand that plot, the quick trial and why there was a murder in the first place, maybe an excuse to have a similar background and struggle with pain and grief. But they were murdered…I know, I know you never know, it could happen to you, yeah… things happen.
Well that’s my opinion.
Although, I recommend you give it a go!
