*Got this audio book for free with the intent of an honest review.*
The title did appeal to me and I’m sure I would bought it, after reading the synopsis.
I was prepared for paranormal, I wasn’t prepared to be involved in to solving a mystery though… that made it more interesting, engaging… lived up to the expectation, it sure did. 🙂
It’s such a shame and unfortunately so sad that so many young people have been forced to life in this sick way, based on their parents mistakes… I was so worried about this girl…
So many questions had to be answered and right at the middle was this poor young girl who had nothing, no one… such a tragic character…
Talking about characters it was enjoyable to meet them and the author did a good job with the dynamic between them.
Although the story was kind of predictable, I was waiting for a big twist … it never came… well not that it had to be big… just more suitable to my personal taste.
This is not horror, but mystery/ thriller…ish
If you like mystery and a quick read, go for it!
