As I start to read/listen, I knew this was going to be a very emotional love story.
I thought it was a darker read but the intense sexual chemistry between the two characters, light the way.
Both suffered a lot each in their own way, trying to break free from the hurt and loneliness. Alone, in real life they would need help, but that was OK for me to keep reading.
It’s damn hard to do on your own, without help, without someone to talk to.
So like any human, they feel the need to escape in each other from the pain and suffering.
What they didn’t expect was the emotional connection, it was beyond physical… and the secrets they were hiding would come back and make them realize this connection was what they really need from each other to go on.
I’m not that sure of the double standard… and the rules… When someone opens up to you and you refuse to do the same… hiding things from your own past which pale in comparison to the things the other one isn’t telling you… hmm.
I loved the art element, the tattoo, a symbolic design that bonds them together and becomes a real healing process.
I like the friendships around them too. Not that I would miss them… I think Sienna’s part although didn’t really matter much…
About the writing, dual POV was great, quite distinct and serious unique voices.
Overall I liked it a lot!
Let’s see what Inked Armour has to offer!

Again a story about getting back on your feet with the help of another broken soul. You´ll find out there many romances like this. This time a little edgier.
I like the way it was written, focusing in the connection, about art, hope, love with plenty of sex on the side, I must say, well not on the side, right in front of you and very detailed, good stamina!
I liked their interaction around their need for each other, afraid of the loneliness, breaking the rules and their limits, growing a thicker skin to start living again. To make sense. They went far beyond skin, only at the end they realized what they were missing. They build each others armor and completed the shield, healing their wounds.
What I didn’t like that much:
I’ve found a little difficult to understand why there was so many problems around a guy with tattoos, or even piercings… I think that city has many living there… but Ok… let’s keep reading 🙂
Then I didn’t understand that plot, the quick trial and why there was a murder in the first place, maybe an excuse to have a similar background and struggle with pain and grief. But they were murdered…I know, I know you never know, it could happen to you, yeah… things happen.
Well that’s my opinion.
Although, I recommend you give it a go!
Hayden is a very awesome guy!

FRACTURES IN INK is a standalone novel
Sometimes the things we shouldn’t want become exactly what we need . . .
Waitressing at a seedy strip club isn’t ideal, but it pays Sarah Adamson’s tuition. Her goal is to finish her master’s program and get a job that doesn’t involve tight skirts and groping hands. She doesn’t need distractions. Especially not the one that comes in the form of a hot-as-sin tattoo artist who works across the street from her apartment.
Kicked out at sixteen, and a high school dropout, Chris Zelter is familiar with wanting things he can’t have. His fractured life has never been easy. As the product of someone else’s bad decisions, he knows exactly what happens when the wrong person controls your marionette strings. Now an accomplished tattoo artist in a renowned studio in Chicago, Chris has it together.
Apart from his infatuation with Sarah. She’s way out of his league, and Chris knows it.
But he’s willing to be her bad decision. At least for now.
