Hopeless (Hopeless, #1)Hopeless by Colleen Hoover

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4,5*

Oh this was consuming but so amazing! I have nearly read it overnight!
Couldn’t let Sky and Holder down!

The story goes around an extremely difficult subject, I’m not going to tell
but it was perfectly carefully written. It felt real!

The author really knows how to bring characters to life. I felt it too!

I will always LIVE Hopeless!

Losing Hope (Hopeless, #2)

Losing Hope by Colleen Hoover

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I knew Holder was intense!

I don’t think there are many like him around.

I’m not sure I can review this amazing story, words fail me.

Holder is trying to live through Les’s death by writing to her on her note book, we learn a little about her and every emotion, every decision he makes, how he handles every situation is heartbreaking.

His nightmares about Les, about Hope… it was so hard to feel with him.

He was in constant battle about telling or not Sky, all the truth.

There’s this thing about words. They can be so powerful!

I’m glad I read Losing hope, I was worried about reading the same story, I was wrong, I didn’t need to worry! The author can turn the same story in something very special,so thank you for sharing it with us!

When I’m losing Hope , I just look at the Sky!

Maybe Someday (Maybe, #1)Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Heart beat struggle 🙂 It’s almost 6 am! Need to sleep first so I can dream this review tomorrow!

Next night review:

Listening to Maybe Someday audio book and Griffin Peterson’s original soundtrack was an experience, the music was perfect, a very important part of the story.
This story is told between the two main characters: Ridge and Sydney.
Can we truly love two people at the same time? If we can, then we probably can be broken twice.

Ridge has a girlfriend, Maggie, that everyone likes, they love and trust each other and that’s all they want.
Ridge loves music and feels music through his heart, something Maggie can’t…

Sydney was betrayed by her boyfriend and her roommate best friend.
She has nowhere to go and she’s alone and this all happened in her birthday! What a day to wake up!

Music brings Ridge and Sydney together, it’s also the way they feel music that makes them fall in love with each other. Something about Ridge, makes the story turn in an whole new level. I couldn’t imagine how this secret was going to be so important and loved how the author explored it into the story! I don’t usually like love triangles, but I was so curious about the story now!

They work on songs together, writing them with words and melodies and wow the songs were so much more than words… it was an escape to what they truly feel without saying.

They fight their emotions, but feelings kept winning! It begins so sweet and innocence… but they know, this between them, can’t happen and it gets so emotional, angst and heartbreaking.

Didn’t want to hurt each other and sure didn’t want to hurt Maggie… Sydney has been through the same path they were heading and that is not something they wanted to do to Maggie too, so they needed to end it.

We hear words about love, friendship, trust, loyalty, longing… words filled with such a passion that actually hurts!

Could this be fixed? Read it and find out!

I live music like the air I breathe, so you know, I stayed up some of my nights, just getting through the lyrics, trying to work the melodies and the ways these words could sound!
I searched for the soundtrack just when I ended the audio book.

The story was going so fast I didn’t wanted to end, so it was really hard to put it down.

Loved all the pranks, learn a few!

Grabbed the epilogue bonus!
Maggie deserved to be happy and free!

Enjoy this book! You’ll get hooked immediately!

Ugly LoveUgly Love by Colleen Hoover

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Although it’s a good emotional and rough story, well written, after 50% of the book, I’m afraid I didn’t like the most mercurial important character in the book. Yes I had hope it would be ok, but…

I don’t understand him, so selfish!

You know, you’re not alone Miles! Some people actually lost more than one love by accident or else and they moved on without leaving a wreck behind. Can’t think of one good thing about Miles. He was smarter when he was 18… A man this big and so self center. I understand he’s hurt but exaggerating words and silent, silence but deafening… duh

You’re smart enough to know, your friends worry about you but you can’t care less about them.

Ian was so good to you, even Corbin was taking care of you and most of all, Tate! How could you torture her so and not Rachel, who left you?
Are you aware they had feelings too and maybe they were hurt like you, before they met you?

Everybody hurts… sometimes.

Loved Cap! What an amazing and wise old man! And I got to say that Tate saved a man who doesn’t deserved to be saved at that moment.

All through the book, too much information about the “six years earlier” and I wasn’t impressed. I wanted to know more about the present and the development and interaction between Miles and Tate.

I wanted more about the realization of Miles almost throwing his whole life away! His story was tragic, ok! But there’s no hope, so why live and let others feel pain?

If you loved Maybe Someday, this isn’t enough and doesn’t come close.

I felt the ugliness not in the story, but in the character…

You know the author, then you know it’s another beautiful strong story.

Deep characters, torn but sweet and kind relationships.

I do paint and like this story, painting is used as an escape, a healing process, comfort.

I can’t say more! You have to read it!

Liked a lot.

Review later, I didn’t sleep at all … so curious… so anxious…

Not a novel without “some” angst… I’ll now try a twelve worthy kiss… if don’t know what the hell I’m talking about, you just have to read it or listen to it, like I am.

Later on …

What can you expect from Colleen’s work? Always a Surprise, Admiration… so amazing!

A mix of hope, angst, getting all emotional, not sleeping till you can breath again,
because you want it all to be all right …

Do small things with greater love.
Oh love… is pure,
people forget it, they ruin it.

Feel with your heart!

So I’m not giving much of a review huh…

You have to read it!

I recommend it to everyone!

It Ends with Us

It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Naked truth.
The question I ask the most, but terrified of the answer, the effect it has on me. The how right I was about my instincts.

Sometimes I just walk around the precipice so I don’t get allured to fall. Although I like the invitation…

Most things are so beautiful, but somehow kind of scary, when you push all the buttons. Don’t say I didn’t warn you! But be brave.

It’s how awesome this story is!

Naked truth? Maybe you are not ready for it!

Enjoy!
