This new series is a contemporary YA romance. Some hot guys, an heroine we can relate to, maybe or maybe not, well… many similarities from other books I’ve read. They ask me to read it and told me I would love it.
What can I say:
I think it was a good read, the writing was quite fluid, easy on the words. I didn’t feel close to the characters right away. I don’t mean I have to like or dislike them. Young or Adult make the same mistakes.
It begins with a rough start with a terrible incident in the first paragraphs.
A move… changes can go right or go really wrong. Life can push and pull us, nothing is what we think or dreamed of. No one teaches us. We have to make the best of every situation and wish all the best. Family secrets, cousins relationships, a quest to find someone who somehow got lost and try to gain trust to pick back the thorn pieces.
We can find drama, angst, and of course a cliffhanger…
It was a fine read.
