Review: The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty

The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty
The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty by A.N. Roquelaure
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I don’t remember when I read it! But it was a long time ago!

I was curious about the title, how it was related to Sleeping Beauty.
I like Anne Rice’s work but I was expecting something different.

This wasn’t what I expected at all, didn’t know I was going to read an erotic book, my first!

This book took me to a dark place and was damn hard to read! Well written yes, but my imagination was going crazy weird…

I tried several times to read it!

Torture, pain, rape, spanking, struggle, too much!

At that time I was exhausted and I didn’t read the other two.

Maybe I will now! 🙂 It still is a good book if you have a open mind and really know what you’re getting in to!

2017

Re reading or listening to the audio book this time some years later…

I can’t get past the not consent part of all the “activities” but I understand this world
now that I’ve read some really dark books…

...waiting to be awake... ... dreaming in colors... I'm me. I'm true I feel, I paint. I play with paint, piano, even my guitar. Last, I write... oh and I smile everyday :) My first poem here: https://www.wattpad.com/186634008-moments-you-and-me
